TR Group Expands Transporter Range with Australian-Built Deck Wideners

The transporter trailer rental range continues to grow with the addition of deck widener transporters, giving operators more options for moving heavy machinery and oversized equipment.

Following the introduction of tri-axle tag transporters to their rental fleet, the new deck wideners broaden the range available to customers with different equipment sizes and transport requirements.

Built to handle rugged local conditions, the trailers feature a 13.1 metre deck that widens to 3.5 metres, providing extra width for larger machinery. A deck height of 980mm and 4.2-metre bi-fold ramps with a low nine-degree loading angle help make loading easier, while an onboard diesel powerpack operates both the ramps and deck widening mechanism.

With a 63-tonne ATM rating, twin rear steering, airbag suspension and EBS braking, the transporters are equipped for demanding heavy haulage applications. Digital scales and suspension height control add practicality, while three-way container pins provide further versatility.

Other features include lockable stainless steel toolboxes, in-deck chain storage, perimeter loading lights and an oversize kit with flags, signage and lighting.

The deck wideners complement the tag axle transporters, which offer nine metres of total deck space, a 28-tonne ATM rating and self-powered hydraulic ramps. Together, these additions give operators more choice when matching a rental trailer to the job.

Rental options are available nationwide from one day to 12 months or more, supporting everything from short-term projects to longer contracts.
