Everyone plays a role in the great scheme of things at TR Group. Each individual possesses talents, skills, and a character that defines the company as a unit. Since the beginning, our goal was to become a world-class truck leasing and rental company and to achieve that, we continue to choose dreamers, thinkers, innovators, and doers to become part of our TR Family.

No one is just an employee at TR Group. Our People Care and Development team makes sure that we welcome people with the same values as us through our unique on-boarding process. After all, we reach our goals better as a unit, but best as a family.

We take care of each other. That’s what families do – and when you’re a part of the TR Family, we’ll make sure that you’ll have all the tools you need to jet set you to your personal goals, as well as your career goals, while helping the company reach its organisational goal simultaneously.

One of the ways we do this is through our self-development programmes. Since continuous improvement is one of our values, and a big one at that, our People Care and Development Team organises self-development programmes to help everyone at TR Group be the best they can be – not only in their jobs, but on a personal level too.

We choose to be active learners and seek room for improvement. We also encourage each other to upskill and we appreciate honesty and constructive feedback throughout our career.

Just this June, the entire nationwide team participated in one of our self-development programmes, Skilled. The Skilled Programme is specially designed to help with self-actualisation, setting realistic goals, and encouraging our TR Family to go outside of their comfort zones. To be the best in our jobs, we first need to focus on being the best person we can be, which influences the impact we make in our teams. Over the course of three days, members of our TR Family gathered together at the Waipuna Conference Centre in Auckland for this programme and we’ve already seen improvements in ourselves and each other.
