Variety the Children's Charity

Variety B to B Bash

Over the past two years, TR Group has proudly supported the Variety the Children’s Charity B to B Bash — an iconic event that brings the transport community together to help children who are sick, experiencing disadvantage, or living with a disability.

2024: Celebrating 40 Years of Variety B to B Bash

In 2024, TR Group partnered with CMV Group and Ron Finemore Transport to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Variety B to B Bash in impressive fashion. Together we supplied all the transportation essentials — a TR-branded Volvo FH540 (T01), a CMV driver, and trailers from Ron Finemore Transport.

Thanks to the support and generosity of everyone involved, the event was a huge success, raising an incredible $1.4 million.

These funds provided mobility equipment, educational resources, and essential programs to help children with special needs thrive and reach their full potential — a cause deeply meaningful to the TR Group team.

2025: Continuing the Journey – $1.53 Million Raised

Building on that success, TR Group once again teamed up with CMV Wodonga and Ron Finemore Transport for the 2025 Variety B to B Bash, helping deliver the logistics support that keeps the event on the road.

This year’s Bash raised an outstanding $1.53 million, funding:

  • Support for 191 children through the Flying Start program
  • 7 Sunshine Coaches for schools and community groups
  • 510 therapy grants for children and families in need

Our involvement reflects TR Group’s ongoing commitment to making a difference in the community while staying connected with the transport and logistics industry.

Making a Difference, Together

The Variety B to B Bash is a perfect example of how collaboration within our industry can make a lasting impact. We’re proud to play our part — and we’re already looking forward to hitting the road again next year to continue making a positive difference for children and families across Australia.
