We are on the look for a Finance Manager to join our Melbourne team, that will look after our Australian Finance function.

The role of the Finance Manager – AU:

Reporting to the National Business Manager and a dotted line to the Group Financial Controller in New Zealand, this role will lead two direct reports and is responsible all things Financial in Australia. It is perfect for someone who is hands on, excited by the challenge of implementing new systems & structures, a great communicator and a team player.

Specific responsibilities for the job are;

Lead a sub-team with two direct reports;

• Create a positive work environment
• Support and encourage personal and professional development
• Annual performance appraisals

Lead the day to day Accounting processes, including;

• Oversee & provide support for Accounts Payable, Payroll and Accounts Receivable tasks
• Maintaining the Accounting & Tax Fixed Asset Registers and ensuring appropriate insurances & securities are in place over our vehicles

Monthly Financial Reporting for TR’s AU operations, including;

• Month end journals & reconciliations
• Work with the Group Financial Controller on monthly forecasts
• Liaise with our external accountant to complete BAS returns

Support with the delivery of Statutory reporting, including;

• Key contact for the annual audit of AU’s operations
• Completing quarterly statistics returns
• Support the Group Financial Controller with producing the Annual Financial Statements
